Our goats milk is 100% natural soap, made with fresh goats milk, raw shea and cocoa butters, scented with pure essential oils. Contains no artificial scent or colours.
Why make soap with milk?
Soap made with milk is creamier and more luxurious than soap made with water. The lather is more dense. The foam is more fine and silkier. Milk soaps have the same cleansing power, but milk’s natural oils and acids pump up the skin-loving moisture quotient and aid in skin renewal. A 100 percent milk soap is created when you substitute 100 percent of the water in a recipe for some kind of milk. In this soap collection, our choice of milk is 100 percent fresh goats milk.
Why goats milk?
Goats milk is one of the best-known types of handmade milk soaps. It is popular because of its nourishing properties. Goats milk is full of nourishing vitamins helpful to skin, like A, B1, B6, B12, C, D, and E. It is also high in naturally occurring enzymes and proteins.
Because Goats milk contains caprylic acid, it has a reputation for having natural anti-microbial properties and for being good for acne and some difficult conditions such as psoriasis and eczema.
The caprylic acid also adds to the silkiness of goats milk soap, bumps up the anti-oxidants, and is a fantastic emollient and moisturizing agent.
